To build a larger and stronger community of participants, Sunrise continues to establish more venues in new locations to expand access to our innovative events. In countries such as China, participation extends beyond centralized municipalities so more students from second and third tier cities can enjoy closer access to events, gaining exposure and experience in activities that have been met with ever-increasing demand.
Tournaments and conferences not only provide participants with the platform to refine their skills and knowledge with other like-minded individuals, but also reward them with the opportunity to gain recognition and acknowledgment from their peers, superiors, and influencers. During the summer, our leagues host training institutes and seminars that allow students to train intensively with coaches and lecturers with world class credentials in their chosen extracurricular activities. During school breaks and the regular academic year, Sunrise organizes exchange programs to help students gain international exposure in an academic setting. Ultimately, our students come home with experiences and advantages that they can apply to their performance in the classroom and the communities that they are a part of.
Our classroom-ready content provides teachers with the academic foundation and supplementary components to take extracurricular education in schools to a whole new level. Each course package may include but is not limited to the fundamental curriculum, lesson plans, practical exercises, interactive activities, project ideas, and others. Eventually, generations of students with experience in our various extracurricular activities create cultures of critical thinking and competitiveness in their schools.

The SPE mission is simple: give students and university admissions officers the power to assess another dimension of students—the excellence achieved outside the classroom through extracurriculars. Our belief is that extracurricular performance, for which students prepare for countless hours, is ultimately a better indicator of college readiness than standardized tests like the SAT and TOEFL.
SPE features a multilevel badge system to track genuine skill development and improvement in a given extracurricular. All badges include an audio-visual assessment with a holistic written component that gauges college preparedness and likelihood to succeed in a college classroom. All our badges are verifiable both online and through the accompanying video component. To find out more about SPE, click here.
